Bud is a native of Eastern North Carolina having grown up in Duplin County which is a traditional farming community about 50 miles inland from the coast. After a four year tour in the US Navy, having served aboard the USS AMERICA (Aircraft Carrier), Bud then entered into the Real Estate business in the early 80’s. He started his Real Estate career on Topsail Island North Carolina in which he was involved in the sales of all new construction oceanfront condominiums and beach homes on the northern end of the Island at North Topsail Beach.
After several years of working with another Real Estate company he decided to open his own Real Estate business in which he established in 1993. Not only does he handle coastal Real Estate property sales, he also manages over 200 coastal rental properties for those owners who choose to turn their property into income producing coastal Real Estate. For these owners who only utilize their property a couple times a year, this is the perfect way to earn substantial income while still being able to use the property themselves.
Bud’s Real Estate expertise is in NC Coastal Real Estate sales, Oceanfront and Intracoastal Property, Golf Properties, Timberland, Hunting Properties, Land Development, Raw Land Acreage and Farm Sales. He has a great love for Real Estate and land specifically, and states that he feels this comes from his early years of growing up on a family farm in North Carolina. Bud has continued in the farming industry as he still owns farm and timberland in the region that he grew up.
Bud has lived in the coastal area of Onslow County for over 20 years. He has a very good understanding of the Real Estate market in the region of Onslow, Pender and Duplin County. He is specifically, very knowledgeable of the Real Estate market around the Sneads Ferry and greater Topsail Island area of Onslow and Pender County. He has witnessed the massive growth and development which has dramatically enhanced the area over the years and is very proud to have played a role in that growth and development.
